Stock market holidays in March 2024: There will be no action on the bourses for two additional days next week starting from Monday, March 25. Both the leading stock exchanges -- the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE will remain closed on Monday, March 25 on the occasion of Holi and on Friday, March 29 on the occasion of Good Friday.

According to BSE, the Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment and SLB Segment as well as the Currency Derivatives Segment will remain shut on both, March 25 and March 29.

MCX holiday on Holi

India's first listed exchange,  Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) will remain closed for trading in the morning session on March 25 (Holi), however, it will resume trading in the evening session from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.

Good Friday MCX holiday

Meanwhile, MXC will remain closed for Good Friday on March 29 for both the sessions.

Holi is celebrated across India with a spirit of joy and happiness. The festival begins with Chhoti Holi or Holika Dahan and on the next day, people play with colours.
