Prataap Snacks Share Price: Prataap Snacks skyrocketed by over 16 per cent on BSE on Wednesday (March 27,2024) a day after production started at its Jammu and Kashmir unit.

After closing at Rs 951.60 on Tuesday (March 26, 2024), the stock opened at Rs 1106.70, which was a 16.29 per cent upside. 

The stock was trading up by 1.98 per cent, or Rs 18.85, at Rs 970.45 at 10:35 am on Wednesday.

Prataap Snack's new unit

In a statement on Tuesday, Prataap Snacks said, "The commercial production at our newly set up Unit situated at Khewat No. 13, Khasra No. 800 min, Khata No. 293 min, Kartholi Teh. Bari

Brahmana, Samba, Jammu & Kashmir - 181133 has commenced today i.e. 26th March, 2024."

Prataap Snacks said that it had set up its new unit for the production of extruded namkeen snacks, fried namkeen pellets and other namkeen snacks, including popcorn with a total capacity of about 10,000 MT per annum. 

Prataap Snacks manufactures its chips and snacks by the name of Diamond.
