OnMobile Global shares soared on Tuesday after the private sector telecom company reported a strong set of quarterly numbers. The stock of Bengaluru-based OnMobile Global zoomed by as much as Rs 12.5 or 15.8 per cent to Rs 91.7 apiece on BSE.

The company's shares have been in the pink of health for some time with a jump of 20.71 per in the last five trading sessions, while the shares have moved 16.53 per cent up in the last one month.

The Nifty 50 is down 0.22 per cent in the last five sessions, while it has jumped 1.23 per cent in the last one month.  

After market hours on Monday, OnMobile reported a 2.5 times jump in net profit to Rs 10 crore for the quarter ended June 30 compared with the corresponding period a year ago.

Its margin — a key measure of profitability — improved by 210 basis points on a year-on-year basis to 8 per cent, according to a regulatory filing.
