The board of Nestle India Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Swiss multinational company Nestlé, will meet today, 12 April to approve an interim dividend for the current financial year, according to a stock exchange filing.

Shares of Nestle India were trading at Rs 19,545.35 apiece, down 0.64 per cent o BSE today in a strong Mumbai market. The company's shares closed at Rs 19,671.90 each, up 0.70 per cent or Rs 136.50 on BSE on Tuesday, 11 April. The stock outperformed some of its peers like Heritage Foods which closed over 0.48 per cent higher to Rs 166.40 and Vadilal Industries Ltd which ended the day at Rs 2,026.70, down 0.94 per cent from its previous close.

If the board approves the dividend, the company will pay the dividend with the final dividend for the year 2022. The record date for the dividend will be 21 April 2023.

The payment date for the dividend on and from 8 May 2023, subject to board approval.

Meanwhile, the company's trading window for dealing in its securities will remained closed till 27 April for designated people, according to a previous exchange filing.

The FMCG company Nestle launched its new marketing campaign yesterday (11 April) ‘Imagine karo, kuch naya seekho’ for its white chocolate, MILKYBAR across television and digital platforms.

Commenting on the new campaign launch, Rupali Rattan, head – confectionery business, said, "We wanted to build on the world that MILKYBAR has created – one of imagination, learning and curiosity. We wanted to focus on this strong mother child bond and how she can subtly nudge the child to unlock learning by the power of their own imagination."
