Mahindra and Mahindra Q3 Results: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M announced its December quarter results on Wednesday (February 14, 2024), reporting a 61 per cent jump in its standalone profit after tax.

The automaker's profit after tax soared 60.59 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 2,453.98 crore in the December quarter. 

The company's revenue from operations increased 16.51 per cent to Rs 25,228.51 crore in the quarter under review. 

Here are some of the key highlights of M&M's Q3 results:

The company stood at No. 1 place in the SUV segment in the quarter with a revenue market share of 21 per cent, up 40 bps on a year-on-year basis.   

Its market share in the light commercial vehicle category improved by 310 bps to 49.6 per cent.  

The company is on top in the tractor category as well. Its market share increased by 80 bps to 41.8 per cent in the quarter under review.

Mahindra and Mahindra was at top in the three-wheeler electric vehicle category. Its volumes were up by 54 per cent in the December quarter, while its market share stood at 54 per cent.

The stock of Mahindra & Mahindra was trading down by Rs 13.10, or 0.80 per cent, at Rs 1,632.80 at 2:18 pm.
