Stock to watch: At around 8:07 a.m. on Friday, November 24, the GIFT Nifty futures traded flat with a negative bias, down 0.05 per cent or 10.5 points, at 19,867.5, suggesting a muted to negative start to trading on Dalal Street.

Sensex and Nifty finished on a subdued note on Thursday, November 23, after a two-day rally amid weakness in healthcare and IT stocks.

The NSE Nifty 50 index closed at 19,802, down 9.85 points, or 0.05 per cent, and the S&P BSE Sensex ended flat at 66,017.81, down 5.43 points, or 0.01 per cent. Barring Nifty 50, all other broad-based indices ended in green. 

Here are some stocks that will be in focus on Friday, November 24:

Lupin

The company received the US Food and Drug Administration's (USFDA) approval for bromfenac ophthalmic solution used in the treatment of postoperative inflammation. It also got tentative approval for its Canagliflozin tablets.

Karnataka Bank and Bajaj Finserv 

The private sector lender has announced a strategic corporate tie-up with Bajaj Finserv's subsidiary, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance.

As per the filing, the collaboration is designed to distribute life insurance products. 

Coal India

State-owned CIL, which has imported high-capacity mining equipment worth Rs 3,500 crore in the past five years, has drawn up a plan to phase out such inbound shipments over the next six years.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo)

IndiGo expects delivery of A321 XLR planes in late 2024 or early 2025.

LTIMindtree

The company launched and tested its Quantum-Safe VPN link in London in collaboration with Quantum Xchange and Fortinet.

Apar Industries

The company's board approved the opening of the issue of qualified institution placement (QIP) i.e. Thursday, November 23, 2023. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 5,540.33 per share. This is at a discount of around 2.57 per cent from yesterday's close. The company plans to amass Rs 1000 crore through the route.

Cipla

The pharma major clarified that there would be no impact on the company's other products due to the warning issued in respect of the Pithampur facility.

Prestige Estates:

The company has launched a residential project called Glenbrook in Bengaluru. The total revenue potential of the project is estimated at Rs 550 crore.

NMDC:

The company has increased the price of lump ore by 3.8 per cent and Fine by 4.4 per cent on a MoM basis.

Indian Hotels: 

The data breach has occurred at Taj Hotels. The company has stated that the data is not sensitive and has been informed to the relevant authorities 

Union Bank

ICRA has raised the credit rating to AAA from the earlier AA+. At the same time, the outlook has been revised to ‘Stable’ from ‘Positive’.

Home First Finance

Through the block deal on November 23, promoters have offloaded 86.51 lakh shares, i.e., 9.81 per cent of the holding.

Tilaknagar Industries

Promoter Amit Dahanukar, via a block deal, sold a 1.56 per cent stake in the company at a price of Rs 252.68 per share. Shares were sold for the purpose of releasing pledges on the equity shares of the promoters of the company.

Eicher Motors and two-wheeler stocks in focus

Radico Khaitan
