Info Edge jumps over 3% after Google Play Store reinstates Naukri jobseeker, Naukrigulf and 99acres apps
Info Edge said in a statement on Saturday, We would like to inform you that Companys mobile applications namely - Naukri jobseeker, Naukrigulf Job Search App and 99acres Buy/Sell/Rent Property have been reinstated on the Google Play Store.
Info Edge Share Price: Info Edge jumped over three per cent in the morning session on BSE on Monday (March 4, 2024) after Google Play Store reinstated its prominent apps Naukri jobseeker, Naukrigulf Job Search App, and 99acres.
The stock of Info Edge was trading higher by 0.67 per cent, or Rs 34.60, at Rs 5225.00 at 10:29 am on Monday.
The shares that closed trading at Rs 5190.40 on Friday started the trading session at Rs 5266.00 on Monday to jump to the day's high of Rs 5359.65, a rise of 3.26 per cent.
Info Edge said in a statement on Saturday, "We would like to inform you that Company’s mobile applications namely - Naukri jobseeker, Naukrigulf Job Search App and 99acres Buy/Sell/Rent Property have been reinstated on the Google Play Store."
It further said, "Any new users wishing to download and use the aforesaid Company’s mobile applications, can now do so from the Google Play Store."
The company said that it was working with Google to re-instate the rest of the mobile applications- Naukri recruiter and Shiksha.
Google Play on Friday removed all the above-mentioned Info Edge apps from its store, citing compliance issues.
