Top Gainers & Losers: Indian equity benchmark Sensex reclaimed the 60,000 mark on Tuesday, propelled by robust buying in financial, FMCG and metal shares amid a firm trend in global equities and continuous foreign capital inflows. Investors await the onset of the corporate earnings season, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) slated to announce its financial results for the January-March 2023 period on Wednesday.

The Sensex rose 311.2 points or 0.5 per cent to end at 60,157.7 and the Nifty added 98.3 points or 0.6 per cent for the day to settle at 17,722.3 — both extending gains for a seventh straight session.

JSW Steel, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto and Tata Steel were among the top gainers in the Nifty basket, whereas TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech and Wipro were the top losers.

Eicher Motors 

Eicher Motors shares were among the top gainers among gainers in the 50-scrip basket, rising nearly three per cent to Rs 3,056.2 apiece on NSE. 

Motilal Oswal Financial Services has given a ‘buy’ rating on Eicher Motors — the manufacturer of Royal Enfield motorcycles — with a target price of Rs 3,625, which implies upside potential of 18.6 per cent from its current market price.
