Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) rose on BSE on Friday (April 19, 2024) a day after the Department of Public Enterprises (OPE) granted the Navratna status to the company.

The stock that started the session Friday at Rs 192.05 rose to the day's high of Rs 196.50, a 1.95 jump from the previous close of Rs 192.75

The HUDCO stock was trading up by 0.67 per cent, or Rs 1.30, at Rs 194.05 at 10:22 am on Friday.

Informing Sebi, HUDCO said on Thursday, "We wish to inform that Department of Public Enterprises (OPE) has, vide its letter dated 18th April, 2024, granted the Navratna Status to Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO)."

HUDCO's 52-week high is Rs 226.95, while the large-cap company's 52-week low is Rs 44.23.
