Ace investor Dolly Khanna, in the quarter ended September 2023, bought an additional stake in two small-cap counters, namely Talbros Automotive Components and Prakash Pipes.

According to the latest shareholding pattern filed by the auto components firm, Talbros Auto, the renowned investor held 1,93,215 equity shares, or a 1.57 per cent stake, in the entity at the end of the September quarter. In the previous June-ended quarter, her stake in the company was at 1.5 per cent, implying a 0.07 per cent increase in her shareholding during the Q2 period.

In Prakash Pipes, Dolly Khanna added a 0.46 per cent stake during the September quarter. As per the company’s latest shareholding pattern of the public shareholder, the investor held 7,74,451 shares, or 3.24 per cent stake, as of the quarter ending September 2023, while it was 2.78 per cent in the quarter ended June 2023.

Shares of Talbros Automotive in the past one year have reaped multibagger returns to the tune of 110 per cent, while those of Prakash Pipes during the same time have surged by 53 per cent.

Talbros Automotive is into offering automotive components and parts such as gaskets, forgings, suspension systems, modules, anti-vibration components, and hoses.

Prakash Pipes is engaged in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes and fittings. The company provides a range of products, including agri-pipes, column pipes, plumbing pipes, casing pipes, soil, waste, and rain (SWR) pipes, garden pipes, and related fittings.

The investor during the September quarter trimmed her positions in five counters,including KCP Limited, Nitin Spinners, Som Distilleries, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, and Mangalore Chemical and Fertilisers.

Dolly Khanna is a Chennai-based, renowned investor. As per the latest shareholding filed, the investor’s portfolio is valued at over Rs 366.8 crore, with ownership in as many as 15 stocks, Trendlyne data shows.
