Indian equities, buoyed by gains in heavyweight stocks and a rally in Asian stocks, ended sharply higher in Monday’s trade. At the close, Nifty settled 385 points, or 1.8 per cent higher at 21,737.6, while Sensex settled 1240.9 points, or 1.76 per cent higher at 71,941.57. Meanwhile, broader markets also gained, with the Nifty Midcap 100 settling with gains of 1.63 per cent.

Oil-linked stocks soared as crude oil prices climbed 1 per cent today amid worries over supply disruption given the ongoing Red Sea crisis. ONGC after hitting a fresh 52-week intraday trade, ended over 8 per cent higher at Rs 252.85.

Reliance Industries:

Shares of the oil-to-telecom conglomerate, after marking an all-time high in intraday trade, ended nearly 7 per cent higher at Rs 2896.15.

Voltamp Transformers:

Shares of the company ended 10 per cent higher at Rs 7,925.1 as the company reported strong Q3 results, with net profit surging 86 per cent on year.

Zen Technologies:

Shares of the company were locked in a 5 per cent upper circuit at the close of Rs 762.65 after posting solid Q3 earnings.

PNB:

Shares of the state-run lender ended around 3 per cent higher at Rs 107.52 after Q3 net profit jumped more than three-fold to Rs 2,223 crore as against Rs 629 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

BPCL:

Shares of the OMC ended over 4 per cent higher at Rs 492.6 as Q3 PAT climbed 73 per cent on year.

Latent View Analytics:

Shares of the software and consulting firm ended nearly 5 per cent higher at Rs 474.1 even as the company’s standalone net profit for the December quarter declined to Rs 31.3 crore.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals:

Shares of household appliances ended with a cut of over 1 per cent at Rs 300.9. The company announced the launch of its product, Attitube, under the product category Batten for Single and Twin-Led T8 Tube.

Xpro:

Shares of the company climbed over 4 per cent to Rs 1,220.25 after the company approved the issue as well as the allotment of 4,35,750 warrants on a preferential basis.

Tata Power:

Shares of the utility company settled around 5 per cent higher at Rs 381.9 after the company’s subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) commissioned a 1,040 kW Bifacial Solar System project with Chengmari Tea Estate.
