Indian equities, amid positive global cues and healthy domestic macros, ended at new closing highs. Sensex, after marking a new peak in intra-day trade, ended at 74,742.2, up 494.28 points or 0.67 per cent, while Nifty, after hitting a new high, concluded the session with gains of 152.6 points or 0.68 per cent at 22,666.3 points.

Here are the stocks that hogged the limelight during trade today.

Nestle India:

Nestle India shares ended with a cut of 1.5 per cent at Rs 2,500 as the company approved a hike in royalty payment to the parent company.

Wipro:

Wipro shares, amid a change in top management, ended 1 per cent lower at Rs 480.65. At the helm, Thierry Delaporte will be replaced by the new MD and CEO, Srini Pallia.

Bandhan Bank:

Shares in the private lender ended over 6 per cent lower at Rs 184.95 as the company's CEO is set to step down.

Voltas:

Amid record-breaking sales in FY24, shares of the company ended over 6 per cent higher at Rs 1,307 apiece on the BSE.

Exide Industries:

Shares of the company ended over 17 per cent higher at Rs 377 amid a spurt in trading volume in the counter.

Gland Pharma:

Shares of the pharma major ended nearly 6 per cent higher at Rs 1,853.25 as the US FDA approved the company’s breast cancer drug.

Titan Company:

Titan shares ended a tad lower at Rs 3,742.65 even as the company posted a good March quarter business update.

Nykaa:

Shares of the e-commerce company ended over 6 per cent higher at Rs 179.25 amid a strong earnings outlook.

Eicher Motors:

Amid healthy gains in the entire auto pack, shares of the company ended over 4 per cent higher at Rs 4,205.7 per share.

RVNL:

Shares of the railways company ended a tad higher at Rs 264.35 after bagging an order worth Rs 47 crore from Central Railways.
