Both headline indices rose about 0.9 per cent in the last trading session of FY24, with the Sensex settling at 73,651.4 and the Nifty50 reclaiming the 22,300 mark.

Stock exchanges BSE and NSE will remain shut on Friday for Good Friday and resume trade in the new financial year on Monday.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories: Shares of the company ended over 2 per cent higher at Rs 6171.85 as it inked a distribution agreement with Sanofi Healthcare.

Century Textiles: Shares of the company ended nearly 9 per cent higher at Rs 1632.5 amid spurt in volumes in the counter.

Kalyan Jewellers: Shares of the company ended higher by over 3 per cent at Rs 428 after marking a fresh 52-week high in intraday trade.

Tata Technologies: Shares of Tata Group’s IT enabled services firm after logging a fresh 52-week low ended at Rs 1020.6, down 0.84 per cent.

Bank of Maharashtra: Shares of the public-run lended over 5 per cent higher at Rs 62.29 on appointing Nidhu Saxena as bank’s MD and CEO.

Bajaj twins: The heavyweight stocks Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv ended 3 per cent and 4 per cent, respectively amid reports that the Group’s housing finance arm is in initial discussions for a potential public issue.

Mukka Proteins: Shares of the animal feed company ended over 8 per cent lower at Rs 36.47 as the company’s Q3 PAT slipped 58 per cent on year.
