Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex on Tuesday, October 17, edged higher amid broad-based buying and a rebound in global stocks. Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex on Tuesday, October 17, edged higher amid broad-based buying and a rebound in global stocks. Moderation in oil prices, too, aided sentiment.

S&P BSE Sensex ended 261.16 points, or 0.39 per cent higher at 66,428.09, and Nifty finished 79.75 points, or 0.4 per cent, at 19,811.5. In the broader market, the Nifty Mid Cap 100 and Small Cap 100 ended in positive territory. Nifty Bank was up 0.42 per cent at 44,409.5.

    Its revenue, however, shrinks 13.9 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 755 crore, according to a regulatory filing. 

    The company's margin comes in at 12 per cent for the second quarter of the current financial year, as against 4.7 per cent for the year-ago period.

    The Tata Metaliks stock gains by as much as Rs 53.4, or 5.6 per cent, to touch a 52-week high of Rs 1,003.5 apiece on BSE, surpassing a recent peak of Rs 1,000 scaled last month.

    ICICI Securities: Shares of the brokerage firm will gain traction after its Q2 numbers post market hours on Monday.
