Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity indices Sensex and Nifty settled higher on Friday, October 27, amid broad-based buying and as U.S. Treasury yields retreated following weaker-than-expected inflation data, easing some rate-related worries. Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity indices Sensex and Nifty settled higher on Friday, October 27, amid broad-based buying and as U.S. Treasury yields retreated following weaker-than-expected inflation data, easing some rate-related worries.

Both indices finished 1.01 per cent higher. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 634.65 points to settle at 63,782.8, while the Nifty closed above 19,000, rising 190 points to 19,047.25. The Nifty Mid Cap 100 ended over 1.5 per cent higher, and the Small Cap 100 ended over 2 per cent higher. The Nifty Bank was up 1.19 per cent at 42,782.

    Power Grid Corporation

    Shares of the utility company will gain focus after it acquired Ramgarh II Transmission in a deal valued at Rs 18.98 crore.

    Sun Pharma
