All eyes back home remain on a key decision on benchmark interest rates by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das-led Monetary Policy Committee due on Thursday. Share Market HIGHLIGHTS: Indian equity benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex extended gains to a fourth straight on Wednesday, April 5, as Dalal Street returned to trade after a day's holiday on account of Mahavir Jayanti. The extended rally was driven by broad-based gains, with financial, FMCG and IT shares being the top contributors. Globally, equities saw largely negative moves amid nervousness among investors, triggered by signs of a slowing labour market and weaker manufacturing activity in the world's largest economy.
