  • Share Market HIGHLIGHTS | M&M, Apollo Hospitals, Power Grid rise most in 50-scrip blue-chip basket

    M&M, Apollo Hospitals, Power Grid and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in the Nifty basket, trading with gains of around 5-2 per cent. On the other hand, Eicher Motors, HDFC Life, Maruti Suzuki and HCL Tech are among the top losers, down nearly 3-1 per cent.

    Meanwhile, HDFC Securities has downgraded the stock to REDUCE from ADD with a target price of Rs 3,086 from Rs 3,310 earlier. The brokerage said that aggressive competition will hurt Eicher Motors' flagship unit, Royal Enfield's, growth. Read more

The latest one to join the list is HSBC, which has increased the target to Rs 93. This is the biggest target increase for the stock since December 13, 2021, according to Zee Business Research.

    "On a review, it is observed that arrangements existing between card networks and card issuers (banks and non-banks) are not conducive to the availability of choice for customers," the central bank said in the circular, seeking comments till August 4. Read more

    Tata Power shares are in demand on Thursday, a day after the Tata group power generation company bagged a smart meter deal worth Rs 1,744 crore.
