The SME IPO of Chatha Foods was open for for subscription from March 19 to March 21.

Under the IPO, shares were available for bidding in a price band of Rs 53-56 apiece.

The lot size of the issue was 2,000 shares, translating into Rs 1,12,000 per lot.

Indorient Financial Services was the book-running lead manager of the Chatha Foods IPO, while Skyline Financial Services Private Ltd was the registrar.

What does Chatha Foods do?

Incorporated in 1997, Chatha Foods is a frozen food producer. It offers frozen food products to quick serving restaurants (QSRs), casual dining restaurants (CDRs), and other players in the hotel-restaurant-catering (HoReCa) segment.

The company's product portfolio includes chicken appetisers, meat patties, chicken sausages, sliced meat, toppings and fillers. The company produces more than 70 meat products.

Chatha Foods sells products under the brand Chatha Foods and distributes through a network of 29 distributors covering 32 cities across the country.

Chatha Foods has a manufacturing facility, located in District Mohali, with a production capacity of approximately 7,839 MT for all the frozen food products, according to its website.
