Petrol and diesel prices today (March 30): In a much relief to the common man, petrol and diesel prices have been slashed on Tuesday March 30. This was second petrol, diesel rate cuts in the last 5 days. The prices have been cut in most of the major cities of the country after international crude prices showed signs of softening.

Oil Marketing companies (OMC) reduced petrol prices by 19-22 paise, while diesel prices were cut by 21-23 paise across the country.  

After today’s revision in fuel rates, Petrol will cost Rs 90.56 per litre in Delhi on Tuesday as against Rs 90.78 on Monday. Similarly, diesel became cheaper by 23 paise and was costing Rs 80.87 a litre as compared to Rs 81.10 on Monday. 

Mumbai petrol, diesel prices on March 30  

In Mumbai, petrol is available for Rs 96.98 for per litre , while a litre of diesel costs Rs 87.96, 24 paise less than yesterday’s price of Rs 88.20 a litre.  

Kolkata petrol, diesel prices on March 30 

In Kolkata, petrol price was reduced by 21 paise to Rs 90.77 a litre, from Rs 90.98 recorded on Monday. Diesel costs Rs 83.75 a litre, 23 paise less than Monday’s price. 

Chennai petrol, diesel prices on March 30 

In Chennai, petrol became 19 paise cheaper on Tuesday and the new price is Rs 92.58 per litre, while diesel price was Rs 85.88, 22 paise less than yesterday’s price of Rs 86.10 a litre.  

Patna petrol, diesel prices on March 30 

On Tuesday, Petrol is retailing at Rs 92.89 a litre, a decrease of 22 paise from Rs 93.11 a litre on Monday. Diesel price in Bihar's capital fell from Rs 86.35 a litre on Monday to Rs 86.12 on Tuesday.
