Gold Price Today: Gold prices on Friday edged lower after the US consumer prices increased more than expected in September. MCX December Gold futures were trading at Rs 50810 per 10 grams, down by Rs 74 or 0.15 per cent. Silver, on the other hand, defended Rs 57000 level. Silver was seen trading at Rs 57216 per kg.

In the international market, Gold was quoting higher at USD 1,666.62 per ounce while silver was up by 0.49 per cent which is at USD 18.96 per ounce.
