Gold price today: Gold price on Wednesday, March 15, traded flat amid mixed global cues. On Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold April Futures quoted at Rs 57,423 per 10 grams. Likewise, Silver May Futures traded lower by Rs 321 at Rs 66,635 per kg on MCX.

In the international market, Gold quoted at $1,899.90 per ounce while Silver was down by 0.86 per cent at $21.850 per ounce.

“MCX Gold and Silver gave mixed closing on Tuesday. Bullion overall charts are negative and downside movement can be seen in the near future, Momentum Indicator RSI is also indicating the same,” Amit Khare, AVP-Research Commodities, Ganganagar Commodity, said.

Meanwhile, the rupee was trading at 82.47 against the US dollar. The international oil benchmark Brent crude futures stood at $78.31 per barrel up by 1.11 per cent.
