Gold rate today: Gold price traded below 50,000 level on MCX as December Gold futures were quoting Rs 49,900 per 10 grams, up by Rs 243 or 0.48 per cent. Meanwhile, Silver was under pressure by Rs 503 to trade at Rs 56150 per kg.

On the international market, Gold was quoting flat at USD 1,621.65 per ounce while silver was flat by 0.76 per cent which is at USD 18.52 per ounce.
