Cottonseed oil cake futures rise by Rs 3 to Rs 2,411 per quintal

Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday rose by Rs 3 to Rs 2,411 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded up Rs 3 or 0.12 per cent at Rs 2,411 per quintal with an open interest of 67,300 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
