Power Breakfast: Wall Street Hesitates On Jobs Report As Dow Adds 35 Pts, S&P 500 And Nasdaq Close Lower

On Friday, the Dow Jones recovered 400 points to close at 35 points. While the S&P 500 index declined 0.12%, and the NASDAQ Composite index declined 0.18%. 2.63 lakh new jobs were added in US, the estimate was 2 lakh. The unemployment rate remained stable near 3.7%. The 10-year bond yield again slipped below 3.5%. After 3 weeks, there was a weekly rise in Crude oil. Brent rose by 2% and WTI gained 5% weekly. The old policy will continue without any change in OPEC+ meeting. Gold crossed $1800 on COMEX.
