Final Trade: Heavy selling in the stock market, Sensex closed down by 796 points

Stock Market: Banking, metal and financial sectors remained at the forefront in the all-round selling of the market. HDFC Bank shares remained the top loser in Nifty with a fall of about 4%. Whereas Power Grid closed 2.3% higher due to buying in the power sector.
