Nykaa Share Price: Nykaa stocks zoomed over 4 per cent on Tuesday, November, on the back of multi-fold increase in consolidated net profit in the September quarter. FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which operates under the Nykaa brand, posted 330 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 5.19 crore for the three months ended September. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1.17 crore in the same period a year ago.

The stock opened at Rs 1198.70 apiece, rising over 4 per cent on the NSE. It made an intraday high of Rs 1233.30 and eventually closed at Rs 1180 with 2.50 per cent gains. 

According to an exchange filing, Nykaa's consolidated revenue from operations increased 39 per cent to Rs 1,230.8 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year. In the year-ago period, the same stood at Rs 885.26 crore.
 
The company has also announced to issue bonus shares to its investors. The bonus shares will be issued in the ratio of 5:1, meaning 5 bonus shares will be given to investors for every 1 share held. The company has fixed November 11 as record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for bonus.

"We refer to our letter dated October 03, 2022 regarding issue of Bonus Equity Shares of the Company in the ratio of 5 (Five) fully paid-up Equity Shares of ₹ 1/- each for every 1 (One) fully paid-up Equity Share of ₹ 1/- each, subject to approval of shareholders by way of Postal Ballot and inform that pursuant to Regulation 42 of SEBI Listing Regulations, the Board of the Company has fixed Friday, November 11, 2022 as the ‘Record Date’ for the purpose of determining the members eligible for Bonus Equity Shares," FSN E-Commerce Ventures informed the exchanges.

Nykaa was founded by Falguni Nayar in 2012. The shares of the Mumbai-based company were listed on NSE and BSE on November 10 last year at Rs 2001, a premium of 77.87 per cent. Nykaa IPO was subscribed 81.78 times and the price band was fixed at Rs 1,085-1,125 per share.

Nykaa share price has tanked around 40 per cent in the past 6 months and 16 per cent in one month. Post listing, the stock hit a record high of Rs 2573.70 on NSE on November 26 last year. Thereafter the stock started correcting and hit a record low of Rs 975 on Friday, 28 October 2022, sliding below the IPO issue price of Rs 1,125.
