The equity benchmarks were trading in the red zone in the noon deals of Tuesday, November 16, 2021. At 12:24 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading with a loss of 65.48 points or 0.11% at 60,653.23; the Nifty 50 index was 13.10 points or 0.07% down and was trading above the 18,000-mark at 18,096.35. Stocks like Motherson Sumi - Up 5.93%; VST Tillers - up 8.68%; Maruti - up 3.46%; Tata Motors - up 2.53%; Hero MotoCorp - up 1.60%; TVS Motors - up 1.21%; Bharat Forge - up 1.11% and Bajaj Auto - up 0.52% were trading with gains. The semiconductor issue is getting resolved sooner than expected.
MidCap IT Stocks: On a move with Nifty IT index trading 0.61% higher. Stocks like KPIT Technologies - Up 7.97%; Birlasoft - Up 5.15%; Firstsource Solutions - Up 4.56% were trading with gains.

Hotel Stocks: On a move. Stocks like TAJ GVK - up 2.36%; Advani Hotels - up 3.52%; Indian Hotels - up 0.74%; EIH Associated - up 2.40%; Kamat Hotels - up 2.20%; Mahindra Holidays - up 0.93% and EIH - up 0.65% were trading with gains.

Metal Stocks: On a move with Nifty Metal index trading with marginal gains. Metal stocks like Vedanta - up 3.71%; National Aluminium - up 1.25%; Welspun Corp - up 1.03%; Coal India - up 0.56% were trading with gains.

Declining Stocks

PSU Bank Stocks: Declining with Nifty PSU Bank index trading at 0.59% loss. PSU Bank stocks like Union Bank - down 2.26%; J&K Bank - down 2.21%; UCO Bank - down 1.08%; SBI - down 1.01%; and Canara Bank - down 0.62% were trading in negative territory.

Private Bank Stocks: Declining with Nifty Private Bank index trading at 0.47% loss. Private Bank stocks like Federal Bank - down 1.16%; IDFC First Bank - down 1.07%; Kotak Bank - down 0.74%; IndusInd Bank - down 0.62% and RBL Bank - down 0.55% were trading in negative territory.

Oil & Gas Stocks: Declining with Nifty Oil & Gas index trading at 0.57% loss. Oil & Gas stocks like Hindustan Petroleum - down 1.62%; Reliance - down 1.35%; BPCL - down 1.10%; IOC - down 0.98% and Petronet LNG - down 0.59% were trading in a negative territory.

Healthcare Stocks: Declining with Nifty Healthcare index trading at a marginal loss. Healthcare Stocks like IPCA Lab - down 2.85%; Glenmark Pharma - down 2.46%; Metropolis - down 1.97%; Lupin -down 0.93% and Cadila - down 0.80% were trading in a negative territory.

IPO Update 

Tarsons Products Ltd IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of the labware and life science products company Tarsons Products Limited was subscribed 1.63 times by 12:20 pm at BSE on the second day of bidding. The Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portions were subscribed 0.26 times and 3.17 times, respectively. The employee portion was subscribed 0.65%. Today is the second day for bidding for the public issue that will close on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The company has fixed the price band for the offer at Rs 635-662 per equity share for its Rs 1,024-crore initial share sale. The initial public offering comprises of fresh issue of upto Rs 150 crore and an offer for sale of up to 1.32 crore equity shares worth Rs 874 crore by the promoters and an investor.

Foods & Inns Ltd: Up 4.99%. The company's equity shares were listed on the National Stock Exchange today. 

Tinplate Company of India: Up 2.09%. The tinplate manufacturer and subsidiary of Tata Steel Ltd. has reported a 181% YoY rise in profit at Rs 74.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021, as against a profit of Rs 16 crore posted in a year-ago quarter. Its revenue from operation grew 80% YoY to Rs 885 crore against Rs 491 crore posted in September 2020 quarter. EBITDA grew 234% to Rs 107 crore as against Rs 31.9 crore posted last year. Margin improved to 12% in Q2FY22 as against 6.5% posted in Q2FY21. 

Macrotech Developers: Up 7.76%. Realty major Macrotech Developers Ltd, formerly Lodha Developers, on Monday announced a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to raise up to Rs 4,000 crore via a share sale. The company will be issuing around 3.4 crore new shares through this issue, which will result in dilution of about 7.5 per cent pre-issue outstanding equity capital. The floor price for the issue is Rs 1,184.70 per share. Besides, the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on Thursday, November 18, 2021, to consider and approve the issue price, including a discount, if any, for the Equity Shares to be allotted to qualified institutional buyers, pursuant to the Issue. Proceeds to be used for capital expenditure including acquisition of land, land development rights or development rights, deleveraging and general corporate purposes. 

Escorts: Down 1.86%. Escorts Agri Machinery (EAM), a division of Escorts Limited, shall be increasing the prices of its tractors effective November 21, 2021. There has been a steady rise in commodity prices necessitating a price hike to offset the impact of the continuing inflation. The increase in prices would vary across models and variants. Besides, the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on November 18, 2021, to consider and approve and evaluate proposals for raising funds by way of issue of bonds/ debentures/ non-convertible debt instruments/ securities and/or any other instruments.
Phoenix Mills: Down 1.89%. The Phoenix Mills Limited and Canada Pension Plan Investment Boara ('CPPIB') have entered into a joint venture to develop a property in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai. As per the agreement, CPPIB will be investing Rs 1,350 crore for 49% of stakes in Plutocrat Commercial Real Estate Pvt Ltd (PCREPL), the entity that will own the asset.

SJS Enterprises: Up 1%. Credit Suisse Singapore Limited (ODI) Sold 365,607 Shares at Rs 530.78 per Share. Rasmikantbhai A Thakkar offloaded 2,48,981 equity shares in the company at Rs 542 per share. Goldman Sachs Funds - Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio bought 254,786 Shares at Rs 527.04 per share. 

PB Fintech: Up 13.56%. Capital Research And Management Co A/C New World Fund Inc bought 34,18,354 Shares at Rs 1192.96 per share. 

Sirca Paints India: Up 7.47%. PGIM India Mutual Fund (PGIM India Midcap Opportunities Fund) bought 163,874 Shares at Rs 435.74 per share.
