Earlier on Friday, Indian stock market witnessed a heavy sell-off after the US Fed hiked the benchmark lending rates on expected lines, by 75 bps. While Sensex plunged over 1,000 points to end at 58,098.92, the Nifty50 index declined by over 300 points to settle at 17,327.35. Wall Street stocks too finished lower for the fourth straight session on Friday. All the 3 major indices -- S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Nasdaq Composite, tumbled more the 1.5% each.
