Stocks in News Today, November 24: Sensex and Nifty are likely to open in green on Thursday i.e. November 24 as SGX Nifty - which is traded on the Singapore stock exchange - traded 82 points, or 0.45 per cent, higher at 18,36 in the early trade. Equity benchmarks had ended higher on Wednesday amid buying in banking counters and a firm trend in global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 91.62 points or 0.15 per cent to settle at 61,510.58. The broader NSE Nifty gained 23.05 points or 0.13 per cent to end at 18,267.25.

Asian markets traded in positive in morning trade today. While South Korea’s Kospi rose 0.54 per cent, Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 1.31 per cent. Overnight in the US, the S&P 500 gained 23.68 points, or 0.59 per cent, to end at 4,027.26 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 110.910 points, or 0.99 per cent, to 11,285.317. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 95.96 points, or 0.28 per cent, to 34,194.06.

Bank of Baroda: Bank of Baroda (Bank), one of India’s leading public sector banks, announced that it has reduced its home loan interest rates by 25 basis points (bps) to 8.25 percent per annum with effect from November 14, 2022 for a limited period. This is one of the lowest and most competitive home loan interest rates in the industry.

State Bank of India: State Bank of India (SBI) chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara on Wednesday exuded confidence that the country's largest lender will be able to maintain its performance on the asset quality side even amid the high loan growth. He said SBI, which won investors' confidence after posting stellar quarterly earnings recently, will be able to maintain net non-performing assets under 1 per cent going forward as well.

Can Fin Homes: The company has announced that its board of directors will hold a meeting to consider a proposal for an interim dividend for the financial year 2023 on November 28. The board will also fix the record date for payment of interim dividend, if any.

Keystone Realtors: Keystone Realtors will be listed on both exchanges –BSE and NSE today. The special pre-open session will be at 9:45 am. The category for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) received 3.84 times subscription, non-institutional investors portion was subscribed 3.03 times, while the quota for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) got 53 per cent subscription.

Biocon: The company has announced the signing of a semi-exclusive partnership agreement with Zentiva, a leading pharmaceutical company in Europe, for the commercialization of its vertically integrated, complex formulation, Liraglutide, a drug-device combination for the treatment and management of Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
