Stocks in News Today, December 22: Stock markets are likely to track strong global cues today i.e. December 22. The SGX Nifty - an early indicator of sentiment on the NSE Nifty50 - was up by over 102 points, or 0.56 per cent. Asian-Pacific markets are also hinting towards a positive start as most markets traded in the green in early trade. While Japan's Nikkei 225 was up by over 83 points, South Korea’s Kospi gained over 18 points. The Hang Seng index in Hong Kong too traded in green and surged by over 475 points. 
 
Also, Wall Street's main stock indexes closed higher on Wednesday. The S&P 500 gained 56.82 points, or 1.49 per cent, to end at 3,878.44 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 162.258 points, or 1.54 per cent, to 10,709.370. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 526.74 points, or 1.60 per cent, to 33,376.48.

Sula Vineyards: The initial public offering (IPO) of India’s leading wine producer and seller Sula Vineyards will debut today. The issue price has been fixed at Rs 357 per share.

Bandhan Bank: The promoters of drug maker Ajanta Pharma will sell 4.56 per cent of it stake worth Rs 650 crore via a block deal on December 22. 

Inox Leisure: INOX Leisure has commenced the commercial operations of the two Multiplex Cinema Theatres taken on a lease basis with effect from 21 December 2022.
