Avenue Supermarts Ltd.: Avenue Supermarts, owner of DMart supermarket chain, on Saturday posted its Q2FY20 financial results and reported a 47.54% a 47.54% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 322.63 crore for the quarter ended September 2019 against Rs218.67 crore. Its total revenue increased by 22.26% on a YoY basis to Rs 5990 crore against Rs 4892 crore reported in the year-ago period.

Indiabulls Housing Finance: The board of directors of Indiabulls Housing Finance will meet today to consider a buyback proposal and will consider the quantum, the number of shares, price of the issue and mode of a buyback. Besides, the record date will also be a crucial factor.

Jet Airways: Jet Airways will have to submit its resolution plan. The Resolution Professionals (RP) of Jet Airways had asked the interested parties, Synergy Group Corp and Treasury RA Creator, to submit the resolution plan latest by October 14. The Resolution professionals have approved the EoI (Expression of Interest) of Synergy and Treasury RA.

DHFL: DHFL has signed a nonbinding term sheet with Oaktree Capital to sell its entire Rs35,000 crore wholesale book.

NBFC Sector: NBFC Sector will be in focus today because Altico Capital is likely to present a resolution plan to sell its biggest loan assets like Casa Grande, Chennai; Skylark, Bengaluru; and Marvel, Pune. The sale would help the company to raise around Rs2,000 crore. The resolution plan is likely to be submitted this week.
