Yes Bank: The Board of Directors of Yes Bank is scheduled today to consider and approve raising of funds by issue of equity/equity-linked securities through permissible modes. 

 

BPCL: The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management has appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd as an advisor for the strategic sale of Bharat Petroleum Corporation. Besides, thousands of BPCL employees across India on Thursday protested an upcoming stake sale at state-owned refiner Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), fearing loss of jobs and benefits.

 

HDFC Bank: The private sector lender on Thursday appointed a six-member panel to identify the successor of Aditya Puri, the longest-serving chief of the bank, whose tenure ends on October 26, 2020. Puri will act as an advisor to the search committee. Besides, the bank also announced the elevation of Sashidhar Jagdishan and Bhavesh Zaveri as executive directors for three years.

 

Karvy Stock Broking (KSBL): KSBL has challenged Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI's) order in the Securities and Appellate Tribunal (SAT) seeking relief to allow the firm to tender securities for settlement. SEBI has restrained the brokerage from using the clients' Power of Attorney (PoA) because of which they are unable to finish the settlement process of the shares. The matter will be heard at the tribunal has today.
