Indian market on Tuesday opened in the green with BSE Sensex at a record high, jumped over 300 points following positive global cues, while Nifty50 too opened strong above 15800 today.

In early morning trade, BSE Sensex trading at 310.58 points or 0.59 per cent higher to 52885 levels, while Nifty50 jumped 94 points or 0.60 per cent higher to 15840.50 levels.

Other important indices such as Nifty Bank grew by 213.60 points or 0.61 per cent to 35084.90 levels, similarly, the Mid-cap index soared by 231.10 points or 0.87 per cent to 26936.30 at open today. 

Of 50 scrips on Nifty50, 43 advanced and seven declined minutes after the market open on Tuesday. Bharti Airtel surged most at open by over one and a half per cent on the back of tie-up news with TCS for 5G roll-out news, followed by ONGC, Adani Ports and HDFC each grew by over one per cent. 

In the strong opening of the market, all the sectoral indices are in the green at open today, with Nifty PSU Bank surging most of them by over two per cent, followed by Nifty Media at 1.2 per cent during the early morning trade on Tuesday. 

The global markets, especially the US, give huge support to domestic markets. Dow Jones rallied over 550 points to see the best day in over 3 months while Nasdaq closed higher by 0.75 per cent on Monday. Similarly, Asian markets opened in the green led by the Japanese Nikkei which traded higher by over 600 points in early trade on Tuesday. 

Another important trigger, Foreign Institutional Investors sold shares worth Rs 1244.71 crore in cash and bought Rs 138.09 crore in index futures. 

The Nifty had a very volatile session as morning cues globally were very weak with the Japanese Nikkei down over 1000 points which saw the index hit 15505 in early trading. However, the index recovers all losses and close higher by 70 points seeing intraday swings of over 265 points.
