Stock Market Today 6 Sep 2022: Top Gainers and Losers - What investors should know

Stock Market Today 6 September 2022: Indian stock markets ended in the red on Tuesday. While the BSE Sensex closed at 59,245.98, down nearly 49 points or  0.08 per cent from the Monday closing price, the 50-share Nifty50 index settled at 17,655.60, down by 10 or 0.06 per cent from the last closing. 

In the 30-share BSE Sensex, 11 stocks were gainers at the closing time. The remaining 19 were losers.

1) NTPC shares ended at Rs 168.40, up 2.6 per cent from the Monday closing price.

2) Bharti Airtel Shares ended at Rs 758.10, up 2.4 per cent on the BSE from the Monday closing price. 

3) Tata Steel shares ended at Rs 108.65, up 1.6 per cent from the Monday closing price.

4) Reliance Industries shares ended at Rs 2593.25, up 0.9 per cent from the Monday closing price.

5) Power Grid shares ended at Rs 225.10, up 0.7 per cent from the Monday closing price.

Sensex top Losers:

1) Bajaj Finserv Shares ended at Rs 17014, down 2 per cent on the BSE from the Monday closing price. 

2) Mahindra & Mahindra Shares ended at Rs 1304.95, down 1.08 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

3) Hndustan Unilever ended at Rs 2573, down 1.07 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

4) Bajaj Finance Shares ended at Rs 7120.85, down 1.05 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

5) Kotak Mahindra Bank Shares ended at Rs 1918.80, down 0.99 per cent from the Monday closing price.  

In the 50-share Nifty50 index, 20 stocks advanced, 29 declined while 1 remained unchanged.

Nifty50 Top Gainers:

1) Apollo Hospitals Shares ended at Rs 4415, up 3.09 per cent from the Monday closing price.

2) Bharti Airtel Shares ended at Rs 729.25, up 2.55 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

3) NTPC Shares ended at Rs 168.50, up 2.4 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

4) Shree Cement Shares ended at Rs 21700, up 1.91 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

5) SBI Life Shares ended at Rs 1313.95, up 1.6 per cent from the Monday closing price. 

Nifty50 Top Losers:

1) Tata Consumer Products Shares ended at Rs 818.75, down 2.23 per cent on the NSE from the Monday closing price. 

2)  Bajaj Finserv Shares ended at Rs 17007, down 2.12 per cent on the NSE from the Monday closing price. 

3)  Britannia Industries ended at Rs 3610, down 1.4 per cent on the NSE from the Monday closing price. 

4)  Mahindra & Mahindra Shares ended at Rs 1303, down 1.3 per cent on the NSE from the Monday closing price. 

5) Bajaj Finance Shares ended at Rs 7118, down 1.09 per cent on the NSE from the Monday closing price.
