Domestic stock markets were trading in red on Monday’s noon deals as profit booking emerged at higher levels. At 12:43 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 90.68 points or 0.15% down at 58,925.21 while the Nifty 50 was trading with a fall of 58.25 points or 0.33 per cent at 17,526.90. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

RVNL: Up 3.49%. The company has bagged a contract worth Rs 1,035 crore for metro rail from Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation. 

Shipping Corporation of India: Up 3.35%. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved the Shipping Corporation of India's Draft Scheme of Arrangement for the demerger of its non-core assets. The scheme mandates the formation/incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary as a 'resulting company' for the demerger of non-core assets of the company.

KEC International: Up 4.05%. KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity in Spur Infrastructure Private Limited for an enterprise value of Rs 62 crores. The acquisition is expected to be completed within 60 days from the date of the agreement. Spur Infrastructure Private Limited, an Ahmedabad based EPC company engaged in setting up cross-country oil & gas pipelines and city gas distribution networks. 

Tata Communications: Up 1.22%. Tata Communications offer to pay as you go feature on Ethernet network services in India. 

Delta Corp: Up 1.73%. The government of Goa has allowed the reopening of the Casinos in the State. All the casinos operated by the Company and its subsidiaries in Goa will resume operations from September 20, 2021. With the opening of the casinos in Goa, all casinos operated by the Company and its subsidiaries (in Goa, Sikkim & Nepal) and The Deltin, the hotel in Daman operated by the Company's subsidiary, will be operational.

Nazara Technologies: Up 2.62%. NODWIN Gaming, a material subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Limited, has acquired the Gaming and adjacent IP business of OML Entertainment for Rs 73 crore. This transaction allows NODWIN Gaming to massify gaming and esports by tapping into emerging synergies in gaming entertainment that a 14–30-year-old is looking for. It enables the firm to build IPs that are relevant to fans and are more brand-centric.

Zomato: Down 0.25%. The GST council has decided to levy 5% GST on food delivery platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato. Apps will be responsible to collect GST from the restaurants they pick up the orders from January 1, 2021. Cloud kitchen has been considered as a restaurant and 5% GST will be charged on them as well. Besides, Zomato Limited in its clarification on a news article titled "Zomato cofounder Gaurav Gupta quits two months after IPO" said Mr Gupta is not designated as key managerial personnel under the Companies Act, 2013. He was neither a promoter nor was holding any equity in the company. His exit from the Company does not warrant any disclosure

Lupin: Down 1.43%. US FDA has concluded an inspection at our Goa facility in India. The inspection was carried out from September 6, 2021, to September 18, 2021, and closed with seven observations. The company says that it is confident of addressing the observations satisfactorily and are committed to being compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice standards across all our facilities.

Cadila Healthcare: Down 0.31%. Zydus Cadila receives final approval from USFDA for Vortioxetine Tablets in the strengths of 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg (US RLD: Trintellix Tablets). Vortioxetine is used to treat depression.

Welspun India: Down 0.49%.  Board has approved a plan to augment towel manufacturing capacity by 20% i.e., 16,600MTPA at Anjar from 85,400 MTPA to 102,000MTPA. The Company is expected to invest Rs 656.5 crore for the aforesaid expansion over FY22 and FY23. Further, Board of the wholly-owned subsidiary viz. Welspun Flooring Limited has approved a CapEx of Rs 143.6 crore to be invested over FY22 and FY23.

VST Tillers: Down 1.27%. Launches new product VST 95 DI Ignito, India’s first 9HP Electric Start Power Tiller and widest range of brush cutters. 

BLS International: Down 9.99%. Filed complaint with Delhi Police cyber cell against people giving unsolicited messages against the company. 

Alkem Laboratories: Down 1.20%. Board of Directors of the Company vide Circular Resolution passed on September 16, 2021, approved the closure of operations at Beta Block (Unit II) manufacturing facility located at Baddi. The Beta Block (Unit-II) manufacturing facility at Baddi mainly catered to the Domestic market for Injections and was significantly underutilized. To avoid operating expenditure in Baddi, it is decided to discontinue the manufacturing operations at this facility, pursuant to the date of closure this facility shall be used as a warehouse.
