After fluctuating between gains and losses on Friday, the Indian benchmark indices were trading in red at noon. At 12;50 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 38.11 points or 0.08% lower at 49,708.10 and Nifty 50 was trading with a decline of 14.95 points or 0.1% at 14,858.85. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited: Zooms 19.66%. Shares of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited, on Friday, was trading around 20% higher at Rs 7 on the NSE after its subsidiary Srei Equipment Finance Limited (SEFL) said it has received an expression of interest for up to $250 million capital infusion in the company from international private equity (PE) funds, US-based Arena Investors LP and Singapore's Makara Capital Partners.

Gujarat Gas Ltd: Buzzing and up 3.86%. 

Sasken Technologies Ltd: Bullish and hits 10% upper share and trading 12% higher.         

Zensar Technologies: Up 2.23%. Shares gains after the company announced a strategic partnership with US-based Claimatic.

Khadim India: Up 2.05. ICRA has revised long term credit rating on the company's overall borrowings of Rs 204 crore to BBB- from BBB, although, it tweaked the outlook to 'Stable' from 'Negative'. The short-term rating on the company's borrowings was revised to A3 from A3+. 

PSU Bank: Buzzing with PNB – up 2.80% and SBI – up 0.67%. Shares of public sector banks were on a roll in Friday's session after a report said senior officials of the Niti Aayog, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and the finance ministry’s financial services and economic affairs departments are set to meet on April 14, 2021, to discuss the potential candidates for privatization.

TCS: Up 0.53%. TCS and Proximus Celebrate 20-Year Partnership; to Focus on Building a Future-proof Gigabit Network in Belgium

Siemens Ltd. + Ashok Leyland Ltd: Up 0.22% & 0.86%, respectively. Shares of the two companies rise after Siemens signed an MoU with Ashok Leyland for E-Mobility solutions

Metal stocks: Slip due to profit booking. Nifty Metal index slips 0.59%. JSW Steel – down 1.37%, SAIL – down 1.57%. 

Cement stocks: Rally on reports of price hike in Andhra, Telangana. Andhra Cements – up 7.76%, India Cement – up 4.77%, Orient Cement – up 2.61% and Sanghi Industries Ltd. – up 0.76% among others.
