There are some important corporate actions in the pipeline for Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The record date for interim and final dividends of many important stocks have been fixed as November 10.

Among the major companies, the board of directors of Ajanta Pharma Ltd, Dalmia Bharat Ltd, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd, and Steel Authority of India (SAIL) — have marked November 10 as the record date for interim and final dividend for shares of the companies.  

The record date is the date set by the board of directors of a company by which investors must be on the company's books in order to receive a stock's dividend.

Ajanta Pharma Ltd has announced an interim dividend of Rs 9.5 per share for its shareholders.  Earlier, Dalmia Bharat Ltd has fixed Rs 4 per equity share interim dividend, Procter & Gamble healthcare management has announced Rs 80 per share final dividend and SAIL Rs 4 per share interim dividend.  

Between June 2011 and November 2021, Ajanta Pharma Ltd has announced dividends for its shareholders 12 times, while it has given bonus (1:2) once and the share has also been split (from Rs 5 to Rs 2) once during this period, showed Stock Edge, an app to analyse NSE and BSE data.  

Procter & Gamble healthcare has offered final dividend on 12 occasions, interim dividend twice during November 2011 and November 2021, as per the same data. This pharma stock also offered special dividend once of Rs 362 per share in May 2017.  

The government-owned steel company SAIL has also offered interim and final dividend 12 times August 2011 and November 2021, while Dalmia Bharat dividends came on four occasions between August 2019 and November 2021, as per Stock Edge.  

Ahead of share dividend record date, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd closed with minor gains of Rs 56.85 to Rs 14,428, while ended over 3 per cent higher to Rs 124.40 per share on the BSE on Tuesday. Dalmia Bharat stocks closed at Rs 2121.20, up Rs 27.40 and Ajanta Pharma traded negative at Rs 2158.85, down Rs 26.05 in the Tuesday's intraday trade on BSE.
