Domestic stock markets turned positive after pairing the early-morning losses in the today's, January 14, 2021, volatile session. At 12:22 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 74.99 points or 0.15% higher at 49,567.31. The Nifty 50 was trading 18.55 points or 0.13% higher at 14,583.40. UPL, IndusInd Bank, Gail and TCS were leading at NSE rising 4.40%. 3.37%, 2.30% and 2.16% respectively. There were certain stocks which were in action - in either direction - based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

Garden Reach + Adani Enterprises: 

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (up 3.37%): Signs contract worth Rs 1.2 crore with the Transport and Harbours Department, Ministry of Public Works, Government of Guyana, for designing, construction and supply of an Ocean-going Passenger and Cargo Vessel.

Adani Enterprises Limited (down 0.065%): Wins contract worth Rs 1,838 crore from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for Six Laning of Azhiyur to Vengalam section in Kerala on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) under Bharatmala Pariyojna.

PNB + Escorts (bulk deal)

Punjab National Bank (PNB) (up 2.32%): Block deal of 56 lakh shares happened at Rs 36.60-37.10 per share.
Escorts (down 1.19%): Rakesh Jhunjhunwala reduced his stakes from 5.64% to 4.75%.
