On account of Muhurat Trading, BSE Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ashish Chauhan expects the growth in the market to continue as the Samvat 2077 comes to an end. According to him, Samvat 2077 had been a splendid year with Sensex seeing the highs over the 62000-mark.

He urges the new investors to avoid intraday trading and make money by either doing it on a short-term or mid and long-term basis, with patience, research and background check of the company investing. He believes the money would be made in this year too, as same as last Samvat.

He advised, the new participants to avoid the listen-and-invest strategy, however, he recommends to listen to everyone but do what your heart says.   

On the economic front, Chauhan says, India is rapidly in the process of vaccinating against Covid to each citizen and in this regard the government has also launched a door-to-door vaccination campaign.

Slowly and gradually, he adds, India is becoming a global power by being friends with rich countries and the investment in India is likely to grow going forward which will aid not only the stock market but the overall growth of the company, economically.
