Equity benchmarks, Nifty and Sensex, were trading near the day's high in the early noon deals of Tuesday, December 28, 2021. At 12:21 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 466.009 points, or 0.81% at 57,886.33. The Nifty 50 index was 147.10 points or 0.86%, up and was trading at 17,233.35. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran in his new year message to employees has said that looking ahead the Group's strategy will be based on four themes: digital, new energy, supply chain resilience, and health. N Chandrasekaran said that with the 3S strategy, the group is becoming simpler and financially stronger than it has been in a long time. 

Telecom Related Stocks: On a move. Stocks like ITI - up 4.28%; Smart Link-up 9.99%; D Link-up 2.89%; Tejas Networks - up 2.75% were trading with gains. 

Restaurant & QSR Stocks: On a move. Stocks like Barbeque Nation - up 10%; Speciality Restaurants - up 3.35%; Devyani International - up 3.97% were trading with gains. 

Banking Stocks: On a move with Nifty Bank index trading 0.35% higher. Stocks like RBL Bank - up 2.09%;HDFC Bank - up 0.77%; SBI - up 0.63% and IDFC First Bank - up 1.51% were trading with gains. 

PSU Banks: On a move with Nifty PSU Bank index trading 0.85% higher. Stocks like Union Bank - up 2.68%; Indian Bank - up 2.57%; Punjab & Sind Bank - up 0.95%; Bank of Baroda - up 0.88% and Canara Bank - up 0.87% were trading with gains. 

IT Stocks: On a move with Nifty IT index trading 1.32% higher. Stocks like Mphasis - up 2.97%; Infosys - up 1.45% ; Tech Mahindra - up 2.08%; HCL Technologies - up 1.62%; Mindtree - 1.53% and Coforge - up 1.25% were trading with gains.
 
Oil & Gas Stocks: On a move with Nifty Oil & Gas index trading 0.59% higher. Stocks like Oil India - up 3.62%; Gujarat Gas - up 1.99%; GAIL - up 1.65%; Hindustan Petroleum - up 1.46%; MRPL - up 1.44% and BPCL - up1.26% trading with gains. 

Drilling & offshore Stocks: On a move. Stocks like United Drilling - up 10.42%; Selan Exploration - up 3.47%; HOEC - up 3.56% and Jindal Drilling - up 2.82% were trading with gains.

Supriya Lifescience Listing: The shares of Supriya Lifescience made a stellar debut on the stock market. Supriya Lifescience shares were listed at a premium of 55.11% to Rs 425 per share against its issue price of Rs 274 on the BSE on Tuesday. On the NSE, the shares of Supriya Lifescience opened at Rs 421, a gain of Rs 147 or 53.65%. The market capitalisation of Supriya Lifescience on the BSE stood at Rs 3,420.52 crore during the listing. The Rs 700-crore initial public offering (IPO) of Supriya Lifescience Limited was subscribed 71.51 times on the last day of subscription on Monday, December 20, 2021. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 31.83 times while the Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portions were subscribed 161.22 times and 56.01 times, respectively. The offer price has been fixed at Rs 265-274 per equity share. The Rs 700-crore issue comprised of a fresh issue of up to Rs 200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to Rs 500 crore.

SKM Egg Products: Up 14.81%. company has recently bagged export orders for 1,275 Metric tons of egg yolk powder from Russian customers, scheduled delivery during the calendar year 2022. This is the first time bagging the biggest volume of orders for Egg Yolk Powder from a single destination and it is one-fourth of a years' export volume even though the second wave of the pandemic unfolds just now and a new threatening of omicron virus is in the offing all over the world.

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited: Up 7.36%. The company on Monday announced another strategic capacity expansion as outlined in the CapEx plans for Financial Year 2021-22 (FY22). It has received "Consent to Operate" (CTO) from State Pollution Control Board, Odisha to increase captive power generation at its Sambalpur unit by 40 MW. Following the clearances, the capacity at the unit will increase from 118 MW to 158 MW. Across its units at Sambalpur, Jamuria & Mangalpur, the aggregate capacity will grow from 227 MW to 267 MW representing a 17.6 per cent increase. The incremental capacity is now operational." In addition, the company has also received CTO from West Bengal Pollution Control Board for the scheduled capacity expansion at the Jamuria plant. This expansion will add 0.25 million tons per annum of incremental capacity across steel products. The aggregate capacities of Sponge Iron, MS Billet & Long Products are slated to increase by 7%, 6% & 10% respectively.

BSE Ltd.: Up 6.23%. The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, to consider and approve the unaudited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2021. 

ITI Limited: Up 4.28%. Multi-technology public sector major ITI Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India for joint collaborative research projects in cutting edge technologies. 

Ajanta Pharma: Up 4.40%. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, to consider a proposal for buy-back of equity shares including matters related /incidental thereto.

Siemens: Up 2.51%. Tata-Siemens JV will develop the metro corridor from Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar for Pune Metro under the PPP route. The metro corridor will be developed by a Joint Venture between TRIL Urban Transport Private Limited (a Tata Group Company) and Siemens Project Ventures GmbH (a subsidiary of Siemens Financial Services). The project is to be completed in 39 months. The order size of Siemens Limited is to the extent of Rs 900 crore (approximately).

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd: Up 2.33%. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, to consider the declaration of Interim Dividend for the financial year 2021-22. The Company has proposed to fix Friday, January 7, 2022, as the Record Date for reckoning eligibility of shareholders for payment of Interim Dividend for the Financial Year 2021-22, if any, declared by the Board of Directors.

Greenlam Industries Ltd: Up 1.29%. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, to consider and approve the raising of funds and issuance of securities through qualified institutions placement basis or any other permissible mode.

Divi's Laboratories Ltd.: Up 1.14%. Subject Expert Committee of CDSCO has granted conditional approval to Merck's antiviral drug Molnupiravir in an emergency. 

Bajaj Consumer: Up 1.24%. The company has launched New Products "Baiai 100% Pure Oils - Castor Oil, Olive Oil and Jojoba Oil".

TCS (up 0.65%)+ Airtel (up 0.69%): Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Bharti Airtel Limited today announced the successful testing of innovative use cases from TCS’ Neural Manufacturing solutions suite on Airtel’s ultra-fast 5G network. Following the allocation of the 5G trial spectrum by the Department of Telecommunications, TCS and Airtel partnered to test use cases from TCS’ Neural Manufacturing suite of solutions. These solutions help manufacturers build smart, cognitive factories which mimic resilient and adaptive behaviours. 

Ramkrishna Forgings: Up 1.18%. The leading supplier of rolled, forged and machined products have received an LOI worth Rs 225 Million (USD 3 million) per annum from Major Tier 1 Axle Manufacturer in Mexico for manufacturing of front axle beam.

Heranba Industries: Up 1.76%. Heranba Industries acquires an additional Industrial Plot at Saykha Industrial Estate for its further expansion.

Granules India: Down 1.19%. US Food & Drug Administration (US FDA) has approved the Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) filed by Granules Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (GPI), a wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of Granules India Limited, for Prazosin Hydrochloride Capsules, USP 1mg, 2mg & 5mg. It is bioequivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), Mini plus capsules 1Mg, 2Mg & 5 Mg of Pfizer Inc. The product would be available for the US market shortly.

MAS Financial Services: Down 1.46%. The non-banking financial company (NBFC) has entered into a strategic co-lending partnership with the Bank of Maharashtra for lending to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) further strengthening its relationship with the bank.

IndusInd Bank: Down 0.51%. Induslnd Bank has announced the launch of 'Green Fixed Deposits' where the deposit proceeds will be used to finance projects and firms supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Induslnd Bank is amongst few banks globally, to bring forth this proposition, thereby integrating SDG into a regular fixed deposit product.
