Indian-American businessman Mohnish Pabrai has made two changes in his portfolio in the Quarter ended September 30, 2021. As per the latest corporate holding, Pabrai has increased stake in two companies— Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd and Rain Industries Ltd, showed a data with Trendlyne, a platform to analyse stock market data.

The businessman has enhanced his holding in the Edelweiss Financial Services by 1.4%. Altogether, Pabrai holds 6.3% stake in the company in September 2021 as against 4.9 per cent in June 2021. The celebrity investor has 58,703,028 shares of the company worth Rs 467.9 crore as on October 20, as per Trendlyne.    

The investor has also upped his position in Rain Industries, one of the leading producers of calcined petroleum coke, coal tar pitch and other specialty chemicals.

As per Trendlyne, Mohnish Pabrai has added another 1.3 per cent stake in Rain Industries shares.  From 4.4 per cent stake in the specialty chemicals company in June quarter, the Indian-American businessman has raised his position to 5.6% in September quarter, showed BSE shareholding data. As per Trendlyne, he now has a total of 18,855,170 shares worth Rs 444.2 core as on October 20.

Edelweiss Financial Services and Rain Industries stocks closed Wednesday flat at Rs 79.65, down 55 paise and Rs 239.25, down Rs 3.75.  

Besides these two stocks, Pabrai also holds 6.7 per cent stake, same as June quarter, in Sunteck Realty Ltd. He has as many as 9,781,736 shares of the company worth Rs 457.3 core, according to Trendlyne. 

As per Mohnish Pabrai Linkedin account, he is managing Partner of Pabrai Investment Funds and founder and CEO of Dhandho Funds and Dhandho Holdings. The account also shows him as the founder and Chairman of the Dakshana Foundation.
