Long Term Pick: SBI Cards

The stock has corrected from the highs of Rs 1120 to Rs 880. After completing price and time correction, the stock is seeing higher highs and higher lows sequence. Leading and lagging indicators show a buying pattern and a buying crossover in this stock. After considering the risk reward situation, investors should buy this stock from Investment point of view. The stock should be bought in the range of Rs 970 – Rs 985, with stop-loss of Rs 940 on closing basis and target of Rs 1100.

Positional Term Pick: Godrej Agrovet

This is a diversified Agriculture based, R&D focussed company. The management of the company is extremely strong. The stock has witnessed multiple supports around levels of Rs 480 – Rs 490 levels.  Globally, commodity prices have moved up sharply, specifically in sugar, metals, cotton and oil. This stock will do the catch up going forward. The risk reward on the stock is extremely favourable. The stock should be accumulated at current levels. The stop-loss on the stock is Rs 480 on a closing basis and the target price is Rs 570 – Rs 580.

Short Term Pick: Nitin Spinners

Cotton and yarn prices have moved up sharply in the past few months and Nitin Spinners will benefit from this move. Fundamentals of many textile and yarn companies are extremely strong and the momentum will continue strongly on the upside going forward. This move will benefit companies related to this sector. Technically, the monthly charts indicate that the stock is ready for a breakout. The stock has witnessed strong volumes in the past few days. The target price on the stock is Rs 125 with stop-loss of Rs 92.
