Long-term pick: Galaxy Surfactants
Siddharth Sedani picked his first stock from specialty chemical space. Picking Galaxy Surfactants as his long-term pick, he said it has not been recommended much and has big market clients, such as HUL, L'Oreal etc. Sedani said the company plans to increase capacity by next year. Calling it a top-notch company, he recommended that investors buy it for a target of Rs 2500 in long-term. Galaxy Surfactants share was trading around Rs 1979 during the day.
Positional mid-cap: BASF
He recommended BASF as his positional pick. Sedani dubbed it ‘WCC’— world chemical company. He said it is one of the biggest companies in the world in its space. Sedani said as the unlock process in auto, construction and other sectors has begun, it is very much likely to trigger growth in this company. He said the stock has seen good rally after the company posted strong results in the current quarter and it is poised to repeat similar performance in the next quarter. He gave a positional target of Rs 1860. The stock was trading around Rs 1633 during the day.
Short-term pick: Granules India
Sedani picked third stock from pharma space. Picking Granules India, he said he has been recommending this stock from Rs 180 level and it is still a very strong buy. Giving a short-term target of Rs 450, he said the company's formulation business can see a CAGR of 24 % in two years. He said Granules India is a very strong company with return on equity of 24% and is must buy for investors at current levels.
