The Indian benchmark indices were trading in the green on Thursday’s noon trade. Today is the first trading session of the financial year 2021-22 (FY22). At 12:15 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 136.52 points or 0.28% higher at 49,645.76 and the broader Nifty 50 index was trading above 14,750-mark and was trading 62.45 points or 0.43% up at 14,753.15. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

JSW Steel: Trading 7.47% up. It has commenced production of Hot Rolled Plates from the new 5 MTPA Hot Strip Mill facility at its Dolvi Works. The Dolvi Works has an existing capacity of 5 MTPA.

Tata Steel: Bullish and trading 4.15% up. It has regained a market capitalization of Rs 1 trillion. 

IRB Infrastructure: Bullish and trading 3.73% up. Gets order worth Rs 779 crore from NHAI. 

Tata Motors: Trading 1.06% up. Q4FY21 total domestic sales rose by 94% YoY at 1.82 lakh units.

Maruti Suzuki: Trading 0.36% up. Total Sales for FY21 down 6.7% YoY. 

Bharti Airtel: trading 0.38% up. Mastercard to invest $100 million in Airtel Africa's mobile money unit. 

Piramal Enterprises Ltd: Trading 2.62% up. Announced acquisition of Hemmo Pharma by subsidiary Piramal Pharma for Rs 775 crore. 

Venky’s: Trading 1.25% up. Starts commercial production at its Maharashtra based unit. 

Tata Consumer: Trading 1.58% up. Exit from joint ventures by step-down subsidiaries in the USA of Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL). It has divested its stake in Empirical Group and Southern Tea.
