IPOs 2023: Just weeks away from the new year, looking back at 2023, we realise that it had been a busy year for Dalal Street in terms of public listings. Numerous companies launched their initial public offering (IPO) and some of them have rewarded investors with spectacular returns. Big names like Tata Technologies, Senco Gold, Cyient DLM, and others got listed on the bourses in 2023 and have made their place in the list of the 10 best performing IPOs in 2023.

The list of the top 10 IPOs is curated by comparing the current market price to the issue price. The list shows that these IPOs have given multi-bagger returns in a short span. 

1. Cyient DLM Ltd

Listed on July 10, 2023, Cyient DLM made a market debut at a premium of over 58 per cent over the issue price of Rs 265 apiece. Since its listing, the stock has risen over 145 per cent compared to its issue price. 

2. Tata Technologies 

Tata Technologies made a blockbuster debut on the stock exchange with a 140 per cent premium to the issue price of Rs 500 apiece. The stock was listed on NSE at Rs 1,200 and Rs 1199.95 on BSE. The scrip has gained around 137 per cent on the issue price. 

3. EMS Limited 

Delhi-headquartered company, EMS Ltd, got listed on the bourses on September 21, 2023. The company had kept the issue price of Rs 211 apiece. Since its listing, the stock has gained around 119 per cent against its issue price. 

4. Signature Global (India)

The realty company's stock was listed on NSE and BSE on September 27, 2023. The company had fixed the issue price at Rs 385. Currently, the stock is trading around Rs 797.45, which translates to over 107 per cent returns from the issue price. 

5. Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd

Listed on September 5, 2023, the stock has given over 104 per cent returns on its issue price of Rs 99. Shares of Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd had made a stellar debut on bourses at Rs 165 each on NSE and Rs 163.3 apiece on BSE. 

6. Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited

Shares of Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited were listed on the exchanges on July 21, 2023, with a 60 per cent premium on the issue price of Rs 25 apiece. On NSE, the Utkarsh Small Finance Bank stock was listed at Rs 40 per share, and on BSE at Rs 39.95 per share. Currently, the stock is trading near Rs 50 apiece, which implies 100 per cent returns compared to the issue price.

7. Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd

State-owned Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency's (IREDA) stock listed on the bourses at a 56 per cent premium to its issue price of Rs 32 apiece on November 29, 2023. In just a week, the stock has given a multibagger return of around 100 per cent from its issue price.

8. Senco Gold 

Gems, jewellery, and watchmaker Senco Gold stock, which got listed on exchanges on July 14 this year, has given investors multi-bagger returns of over 99 per cent from its issue price of Rs 317 apiece. 

9. Plaza Wires Limited

Cable, wire, and solar panel manufacturing company Plaza Wires' shares listed on bourses on October 12, 2023, at a 56 per cent premium from its issue price of Rs 54 apiece. The company's shares since then have given around 94 per cent returns compared to the issue price. 

10. Netweb Technologies India Limited

Netweb Technologies went public on July 27, 2023, and was listed at a premium of 89 per cent. Since its listing, the stock has gained over 93 per cent compared to its issue price of Rs 500 apiece.
