Domestic markets managed to hold their early gains and were trading with more than a half per cent gains in the noon deals of Monday. At 1:07 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 330.52 points or 0.63% up at 52,815.19. The Nifty 50 index was trading 98.55 points or 0.63% lower at 15,820.75. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

India Pesticides: Up 16%. Shares of the Agrochemical Company debuted on bourses today, July 5.

Info Edge: Up 2.89%. The Board of Directors of the company has approved stake sale of Zomato worth Rs 375 through OFS. 50 % lower Stake sale via OFS Limit of Rs 750 crore announced in April. Besides, SEBI has approved the initial public offering (IPO) application of food delivery company Zomato and reports suggest that the company is planning to launch the IPO by mid-July. Zomato seeks to raise up to Rs 8,250 crore through the public offering. 

Tata Steel: Up 1.11%. The steelmaker in its Q1FY21 business update said that its total production grew 44% YoY to 7.94 million tonnes (MT) from 5.53 MT produced last year in the same period. Total sales grew 34% YoY to 7.14 MT from 5.33 M. India delivery was down 11% QoQ to 4.15 MT compared to 4.67 MT, while the Europe delivery was down 4.5% QoQ to 2.36 MT in Q1FY22 compared 

to 2.47 MT reported in Q1FY21. 

Tata Steel BSL: Up 1.07%. The company in its Q1FY22 business update said its total production grew 78% YoY to 1,171 thousand tonnes as compared to 659 thousand tonnes produced in Q1FY21. On a QoQ basis, the steel production stood at 1,175 thousand tonnes. The sales grew 61% YoY to 1,119 thousand tonnes compared to 695 thousand tonnes. On a QoQ basis, the sales fell 6% from 1,193 thousand tonnes. 

Tata Steel Long Products: Up 2.85%. The company in its Q1FY22 business update said the production volume of reduced iron (sponge iron) grew 81% YoY to 243 thousand tonnes as compared to 134 thousand tonnes posted last year. Sponge iron production stood at 226 thousand tonnes in the previous quarter ended March 31, 2021. Sales of Sponge Iron grew 72% YoY to 179 thousand tonnes compared to 104 thousand tonnes sold last year. Sponge Iron sales stood at 171 thousand tonnes in the previous quarter. 

Marico: Up 1.55%. FMCG firm Marico released its provisional update for Q1FY22 and said the company is seeing improving demand trends as the second wave appears to be receding and the vaccination drive is progressing steadily. “However, gross margins will remain under pressure in this quarter due to consumption of higher-cost inventory and will improve from Q2 onwards. 

HDFC Bank: Up 1.32%. The Bank has posted Q1 updates and reported its advances grew 14.4% YoY and 1.3% QoQ. Retail Loans grew 9% YoY and dropped 1% QoQ. 

Yes Bank: Private lender Yes Bank's loans and advances shrank in the Q1FY22 on a YoY basis. The bank's deposits rose by just 2% to Rs 1,63,295 crore in June 2021 on a sequential basis from Rs 1,62,947 crore. However, the deposits saw a 39.1% rise on a YoY basis from Rs 1,17,360 crore in June 2020 (Q1FY21).

CSB Bank: Up 5.17%. The bank has released provisional data for the Q1FY22 and said that its deposits grew 14.17% YoY. The gross advances increased 23.7% YoY and the total gold loan saw an increase of 46.16% YoY. 

Federal Bank: Up 1.52%. The bank in its quarterly business update said deposits grew 9.3% YoY and dropped 1.89% QoQ. Advances picked up 7.56% YoY and dropped 1.56% QoQ. CASA increased 18.8% YoY and 1% QoQ. 

Avenue Supermarts: Up 0.98%. The parent of the retailer D-Mart has announced provisional business information for Q1FY22 and said that its standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs 5,031 crore YoY from Rs 3,833 crore. Its total number of stores as of June 30, 2021, stood at 238.

ONGC: Up 1.35%. The Company has earmarked Rs 30,000 crore for FY22. It has set a target to produce 22.56 million tonnes of crude oil ad 24.89 billion cubic meters of gas this year. It will spend around Rs 15,500 crore on turnkey projects. 

GAIL: Up 0.63%. The nation’s largest gas marketer has plans to start a new business under strategy 2030. Under the strategy, the company seeks to expand its business into petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and renewable. It has plans to generate 1 GW renewable power in the next three to four years at an expense of Rs 4,000 crore. It has plans to set up ethanol and two biogas plants. It will spend around Rs 800-1,000 crore for this. 

Dr Reddy’s: Down 0.38%. The company expects its business growth to be volatile in the current fiscal year. 

Panacea Biotech: Up 5.01%. The company has received a licence from the DCGI for manufacturing the Sputnik V vaccine. The vaccine will be manufactured at Panacea Biotech’s Baddi facility in Himachal Pradesh. 

Redington (India) Ltd: Up 3.28%. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet on July 7, 2021, to consider and approve the proposal of issuing bonus shares

Indian Hume Pipe: Up 3.46%. The Company has received today the Letter of Acceptance for the work of about Rs.258 crores from Madurai City Municipal Corporation for dedicated Water Supply Scheme for Madurai City Municipal Corporation for construction of distribution Network System (DI & HDPE), House service connections and Instrumentation for Madurai City Municipal Corporation Added Area-Package-4. The project is to be completed within 36 months. 

RailTel Corporation: Up 0.56%. The Company has received a work order amounting to Rs. 17 Crore from M/s. Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited towards providing MPLS-VPN Connectivity for implementation of ERP and TPASS services for HD Video Conferencing facility for a period of 5 years on a rental basis.

Vodafone Idea: Up 4.55%. Non-profit entity Telecom Watchdog has objected to the company’s plea seeking relaxation in AGR payment. The watchdog in its letter to the Ministry of Communication has said that granting more time on payment of AGR dues is illegal. 

Ramkrishna Forging: Up 4.68%. ICRA raises outlook to positive from stable.

LIC Housing Finance: Down 0.76%. Slashed home loan rate to al time low of 6.66% signalling to battle for market share.
