Local Railway passengers in Mumbai must know about this service disruption. The Mumbai Central Western Railway has suspended local trains in UP and Down directions till further notice due to water logging at multiple locations. The information was shared on the official twitter handle of Western Railway (WR).
“Currently No local train services are running in both UP and DN direction till further notice due to water logging at multiple locations,” the DRM Mumbai Central WR Twitter handle said. DRM is the Divisional Railway Manager.

Meanwhile, the Southern Railway has also announced cancellation, diversion and rescheduling of some trains.
Diversion if Trains –
- Train no 06083 Thiruvananthapuram Central – H Nizammudin Weekly Special journey dated 16/07/2021 is diverted via Erode Jn., Renigunta Jn., Kalyan Jn., Vasai Road and further proper Route.
- Train no 06343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Lokmanya Tilak (T) ‘Netravati’ Daily Special Journey dated 17/07/2021 is diverted via Padil, Hasan Jn., Arsikere jn, Londa Jn., Mdgaon and further proper route.
- Train no 02198 Jabalpur – Coimbatore weekly special journey dated 16/07/2021 is diverted via Panvel, Karjat, Pune Jn, Miraj Jn, Hubbali, Krishnajapuram, Erode , Shoranur, and further proper route.
- Train no 06002 H Nizammudin - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly special Journey dated 16/07/2021 is diverted via Panvel, Karjat, Pune, Miraj, Hubbali, Krishnarajapuram, Erode, Shoranur and further proper route.
Cancellation of Trains:
- Train no 06585 KSR Bengaluru – Karwar Daily Special Journey dated 17/07/2021 is fully cancelled.
- Train no 06164 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Garid rath Biweekly special journey dated 18/07/2021 is fully cancelled.
- Train no 06346 Thiruvananthpuram Central – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Netravati daily special journey dated 18/07/2021 is fully cancelled.
Rescheduling of Trains:
Train no 09261Kochuveli – Porbander Weekly Special Journey Commencing at 09.15 hrs on 18/07/2021 is rescheduled ex. Kochuveli at 19.05 hre on 18/07/2021 ie 10:00 hrs late.
