The domestic stock markets were trading at new highs during today on the back of favourable global cues. The S&P BSE Sensex cross the historical milestone of 50,000 in Thursday's session. At 12:20 pm, the Sensex was trading 335.99 points or 0.67% high at 50,128.11 and the Nifty 50 index was trading 94.80 points or 0.65% up above 14,700-mark at 14,739.50. Tata Motors (up 7.46%), Bajaj Finserv (up 4.44%), Bajaj Finance (up 4.18%) and Reliance (up 3.02) were trading higher on Nifty 50 index. Meanwhile, there are certain stocks which were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

Gujarat Fluorochemicals (up 1.81%): The anti-dumping duty on methylene chloride from China will continue. Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has issued a notification in his regard. 

Reliance (up 3.02) + Future Group (up 4.94%): Sebi has cleared Future Group's proposed multi-billion-dollar deal with Reliance Industries Ltd. Besides, Reliance stocks was also buzzing before declaring its results. 

Bajaj Finance (up 4.18%) + Bajaj Finserv (up 4.44%): The stocks rose more than 4% after announcing their December quarter results. 

Paint Stocks + Asian Paints (1.91%): Paint stocks were performing well as today is the second day for the subscription of Indigo Paints IPO worth Rs 1,170 crore. Besides, Asian Paints share rose before declaring the December quarter results. 

IPO Update: 

  • Home First Finance IPO: The Rs 1,154 crore initial public offering (IPO) of Home First Finance, which opened for subscription today was subscribed 0.29 times at 12:45 pm. Investors can bid for a minimum one lot of 28 equity shares and in multiples up to 13 lots, in the price band of Rs 517-518 per share.
  • Indigo Paints IPO: The Rs 1,170 crore IPO of Indigo Paints was subscribed 3.65 times at 12:45 pm. Today is the second day for the subscription of the public offer. Indigo Paints has fixed the price band of the share sale at Rs 1,488-1,490 a share. Investors can bid for a minimum one lot of 10 shares and in multiples, extending up to 13 lots.
