Chennai-based investor Dolly Khanna has taken a fresh stake in Rama Phosphates in September, showed the shareholding patterns with the BSE. As per the BSE India's shareholding pattern of public shareholders, the celebrity investor has acquired 1.89% stake worth 3,34,596 shares of Rama Phosphates in September quarter. Rama Phosphates Limited (RPL) is one of the leading Single Super Phosphate (SSP) fertilizer manufacturing companies in India.

The investor, who is known for taking position in lesser-known stocks, also had 1.77% stake comprising 3,12509 shares in June 2021.  

Rama Phosphates shares, which closed the Thursday's trading session on BSE at Rs 345.80 (up 2.98%) in the intraday trade, has given over 400% returns in a year. The shares zoomed 156.81 per cent in 6 months, while it surged whooping 492.12% in a year, showed a data with Stock Edge, the equity markets analytics and research platform, primarily based on the NSE and BSE data. Rama Phosphates stocks soared from Rs 55 (52-week low) to Rs 505 (52-week high) on the BSE in a year.

Meanwhile, in another sizable position, Dolly Khanna also bought 801,062 shares worth 1.77% stake in NCL Industries Limited, showed Stock Edge data. NCL Industries shares last trade at Rs 251.10, down Rs 7.95 or (3.07%) in the intraday trade on Thursday.  The share has hit 52-week high of Rs 304.80 on August 3, 2021, while it traded at year's low value of Rs 109.95 on October 15, 2021, showed data with the BSE.  

Beside these two stocks, the Chennai-based investor has exposure in KCP Ltd, Deepak Spinners Ltd, Aries Agro Limited and other shares. These shares also include numbers from June quarter. Khanna has invested a majority chunk of the asset in KCP ltd. The celebrity investor has a total of 4.33% stake comprising 5,587,291 shares. KCP Ltd shares last tarded on NSE at Rs 142.80, up 3.70 or 2.66% on Thursday.
