Ace investor Dolly Khanna has taken fresh position in two shares belonging to heavy electric equipment and apparel and accessories segments, showed BSE shareholding patterns of the companies. Both shares have surged over 180 per cent in the last one year as on January 21, 2022.

From heavy electric equipment space, the celebrity investor bought 1,22,284 shares worth 1.2% stake in Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. The net value of the shares stood at Rs 3.2 crore as on January 21, as per Trendlyne.

Indo Tech Transformers Ltd shares have been locked in 10 per cent upper circuit for the past three consecutive sessions. At 9.45 am on Friday, Shares of this heavy electric equipment segment surged as much as 9.98% or Rs 26.10 to 287.50 per share on the BSE. Shares of Indo Tech Transformers Ltd has surged whooping 30 per cent or Rs 65 in the last five days on the NSE.  

Located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, Indo Tech Transformers Ltd is part of the Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Industry. Incorporated in 1992, it claims to have 17 companies in the corporate family. 

Another share which saw Dolly Khanna taking fresh entry in December quarter was Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd from apparel space. The investor bought 208,004 shares worth Rs 13.7 crore of Monet Carlo Fashions. This aggregates to 1 per cent of the company 

Shares of Monte Carlo Fashions rose 188% or Rs 424 on the NSE in the last one year as on January 21. At 9.50 am, shares of fashion and apparel segment were trading mute at Rs 652.70, a decline of 0.53%, on the BSE.   

Monte Carlo is a fashion house with an eclectic mix of clothing for men, women and tweens. The company was launched in 1984 by Oswal Woolen Mills Ltd, the flagship company of Nahar group. 

As per the latest corporate shareholdings filed, Dolly Khanna publicly holds 20 stocks with a net worth of over Rs. 419.6 crore as on January 21, showed Trendlyne data.
